"Study Hall" Offers A Non Traditional Space For Co-Working In Brooklyn Art GalleryMore Americans are working as freelancers, temps, independent contractors and solopreneurs. While working at home has its benefits, such as zero commute time, often independent workers feel, well, a little too independent. Social media can help create the feeling of a ‘virtual water cooler’, but many freelancers miss the camaraderie that can be found working within an office. As a result, co-working spaces are becoming more popular. But for anyone who shudders at the thought of working in a sterile white cubicle again there is the unique experience of working, studying or simply reflecting at the Brooklyn gallery known as Proteus Gowanus.Study Hall is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost of becoming a member of Study Hall is just $50 a month. There is a special offer to join Study Hall which expires December 21, 2013: Sign up for six months and receive an additional one month for free! For more information on joining study hall, please contact Tammy Pittman at info@proteusgowanus.org.
