State Senator Squadron Wants To Hear Your Ideas And Concerns At Yearly Community Convention

IMG_4856
When NY State Senator Daniel Squadron took office in 2009, he promised to keep an open dialogue with his constituents to discuss pressing legislative and community priorities. Since then, he has organized a yearly '25th Senate District Community Convention' to meet directly with residents to listen to what they have to say. Tonight, he and his staff will be hosting two such meetings, one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn.
Please RSVP by emailing at squadron@nysenate.gov.
Below is more information on the events:

Dear Friend,
A lot of exciting change is happening; here's one chance to join with neighbors and be a part of it.
Every year I host a Community Convention so that my bosses -- you and the other residents of our district -- can directly shape my priorities at home and in Albany.

And every fall I ask you to join me at town hall meetings where I report on our progress, so that your ideas and concerns continue to drive our work.

Now more than ever, in this time of transition and possibility in our local government, it's vital that you come out and help shape the work we do.

Join me on Monday, November 18th for one of these town hall meetings in Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn:

Lower Manhattan: 6:00PM to 7:00PM
Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV)
87 Lafayette Street (between White & Walker Streets), 1st Floor

Brooklyn: 7:30PM to 8:30PM
Brooklyn Law School - Geraldo's Cafe, Feil Hall
205 State Street (between Court Street and Boerum Place)

RSVP by emailing squadron@nysenate.gov (please indicate which town hall you'll attend).

It's your ideas that have driven so much of what we've accomplished. And, together, we'll continue to take on challenges and get results for our district, our city, and our state.

Hope to see you on November 18th.
Thank you,
Daniel
